　　目前筆者所在地區(qū)采用的是新編北師大版高中英語教材。這套教材一大優(yōu)點在于其語言材料的組織都是圍繞某個主題展開的。每單元有一個主題，下面每一課都有自己的話題，對于這些話題學生都較感興趣，有話可說。這樣的教材編排特點適合開展主題寫作活動。每個單元的`前三課或四課是單元話題下的基本詞匯、短語、句型和語法項目的學習，Communication Workshop是對單元知識的擴展和綜合運用，通常有基于單元話題的寫作指導及任務。學生獲得的單元基礎語言知識以及他們運用語言知識的準確和熟練程度，完全可以通過話題寫作活動來檢驗和強化，而且主題寫作活動可以體現(xiàn)語言學習的價值和意義。

　�。ǘ�） 主題寫作教學實例

　　下面結合新編北師大版高中英語教材第7模塊，第21單元的主題寫作教學案例進行探析。

　　本單元的話題是人類生物學，通過單元學習，學生應能夠流利地運用單元目標詞匯和基本句型來討論有關人類科學的相關話題。食物、健康和醫(yī)學是人類生存和發(fā)展中永恒的話題。學生對人類科學有較為濃厚的興趣，所以此單元話題下的寫作圍繞人類發(fā)展展開，貼近學生的生活，易于激發(fā)學生的寫作興趣。學生對單元主題詞匯和基礎語句已經(jīng)有了一定的掌握和積累，能夠用單元基礎語言材料組織語句，表達自己的想法。教師在指導學生進行主題寫作時，完全可以依托單元話題語料。

　　克隆人是在人類生物學發(fā)展到今天無法回避的話題，但具有極大爭議性，這種本身有爭議的話題正適合本單元Communication Workshop的寫作要求Learn to write a discursive essay，此文體要求學生第一段介紹話題，第二三段分述反面觀點及正面觀點，最后一段給出個人觀點。但由于克隆人在現(xiàn)實世界中還沒有出現(xiàn)，同時又遠離學生生活，因此為了給學生帶來更直觀的感受，教師最好課前布置所有同學回家觀看電影《逃離克隆島》，這部電影探討了科隆人及其引發(fā)的道德問題。

　　課堂上教師首先利用大量的與主題相關的圖片、電影片段等創(chuàng)設談論克隆人的氛圍，讓學生用英語表明自己對克隆人這一科學話題的態(tài)度。這一活動激活了學生寫作所需的話題詞匯，可以作為寫前的熱身。從交際功能的角度講，這樣的聽、說形式的語言活動，不但不會沖擊主題寫作活動，反而與主題寫作教學是相互統(tǒng)一、相互促進的。

　　教師可以要求學生在寫完提綱后，同伴間相互交換檢查，檢查內容包括拼寫、用詞是否準確，句式是否準確，語法是否準確，語言表達是否流暢、豐富等�；ピu可以鼓勵學生間健康向上的競爭，激發(fā)競爭意識，促使每個學生盡力提供最好的作品，并且糾錯之一的過程有時語言知識的再現(xiàn)和再復習過程，能夠使學生在交流中得到更多的幫助，收獲不同的語言思維和語言表達方式，補充和豐富自己的語言學習。

　　在提綱寫作的基礎上，引導學生利用Writing Help中的格式要求(正式與中立的風格)，以及Communication Workshop中的連接詞（although, even though, however, therefore, while）獨立完成寫作任務。此寫作活動充分強化了有關連接詞的理解即運用，提高了學生的寫作能力。

　　學生最終完成習作后，將學生的作文張貼在教師里，讓學生互相批閱。學生互相批閱能激發(fā)他們主動尋找差距的意識，也是對單元目標語言再理解、再鞏固的過程。學生從另外的角度反思自己習作中的語言運用，強化語用意識和語言運用能力。教師在學生批閱完后，可再作進一步檢查。這屬于指導性主題寫作。通過教師不同程度的引導和幫助，學生將自己要表達的思想通過一定的邏輯組織后用文字表達出來。

　　這種主題寫作練習可以是獨立完成，也可以是小組合作，方式可以靈活多樣。指導性主題寫作是介于模仿性寫作和自由寫作之間的過渡性寫作，學生在進行大量的模仿性寫作練習和指導性寫作練習后，才能掌握一定的寫作技巧，從而進行自由寫作。指導性主題寫作可以幫助學生從原始的模仿性單元語料學習過渡到具有創(chuàng)造性的基礎語言運用，提升綜合語言運用能力。

　　六、結束語
