Mount Maanshan stands on the south bank of the Changjiang River and the east of Anhui Province. It has many nice scenic spots,Thousands of people from other parts of China and foreign countries come here every year, especially in summer.
Summer on Mount Maanshan is very cool. It can be called a huge natural air-conditioner in summer; Winter here is nice, too. Heavy snow falls every year. I want to say that"Mount Maanshan in summer is green like a clear fountain, and in winter is white like a white jade."

My hometown is located at the outside of the city. I was born and grew up there. It was a little village with natural scenery of green mountains, a beautiful river and lovely village houses. In the summer, I liked to go to picnic under the mountain and swim in the river. But now my hometown has changes. The mountains were blown down to build the factories, and the river was polluted by the waste water from those factories. There are no more green mountains but the smoking factories. The water of the river turns black and stinks, I can never swim in it again. And the village houses are gone too, the ugly storied houses with walls are instead. They said it is the way urbanizing is. I don’t like the changes of my hometown, it is a polluted hometown.

You can get off the bus at the Beach hotel stop and set the luggage or have s rest at the hotel. Then go back the road which the bus have come. The beach is not far from the hotel, you can't miss it. The seafood is very delicious, you can have some for supper after swimming.
