One day , just before going to school as usual , a schoolgirl , Xiao Fang complained to her father , who was reading a newspaper , saying school life nowadays was dull , she hated going to school and that school was just like the hell .
On hearing what his daughter said , Father , silent all the time , said that it was time she went to school with all her complaints over , for in the father’s eyes , no one could change the present situation .There’s no doubt that almost all students dislike school life today , but everyone has the responsibility to end the examination-oriented education . School life should be interesting and colorful , just as the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy .”

I get up at six in the morning. Then I wash my face and brush my teeth. After a quick breakfast, I go to school in my mother's car. It takes us more than half an hour to get there.
We have four hour classes in the morning. I have luch at my grandparents', because their home is nearer to my school.
After two classes in the afternoon, school is over. Then we clean our classroom.
I get home at about half past five. We have dinner at seven. After dinner I do my homework. If I finish my homesork early, I can watch TV for half an hour. I go to bed at half past nine or ten.

As having mentioned above ， I have been thinking about the ideal life on campus 。Some famous people had describe it for all of us ，an ideal campus should be such place for contemplation and inspiration ， the enthusiasm for knowledge can get us out of bed early in the morning and stay up late at night 。With pluralistic culture ，we should be changed greatly ，we may found the way we think ， the prejudices are challenged ，and in the campus ，we could learn how to learn， I think all these are needed in an ideal campus 。

Happy Life at School Bill Condon
Catherine Wang arrived in the UK in January 1999. In order to develop and extend her English language skills, she spent the first few months at Sherborne International College. Then she joined Aldenham to take a two-year‘A’level course, which will enable her to enter a British university.
Catherine found that the emphasison maths and science in China had equipped her well for two of her“A” levels----maths and physics. To challenge① her imagination, she chose art as her third subject. She said it was quite rewarding② and challenging.
Although Catherine left a little, lonely at first, she said she was very grateful for the friendliness shown to her by the teachers at Aldenham.
Catherine has found the international mix of cultures very refreshing③.As well as making friends, both boys and girls from a number of cultures, Catherine found it comforting to meet other Chinese pupils at the school.
The house facilities④include a separate girls＇ sitting room and the use of a kitchen, though, she said the school food was good.
She is a hard working pupil and values the opportunity to study in England. She hopes her results will enable her parents to be proud of her achievements. Catherine plans to study at a leading university in the UK before returning to China to work.
Summing up her time at the school, Catherine said,“I have been very happy at Aldenham and I know I will never forget the experience. I have learnt a great deal from the English culture and my English has improved enormously⑤. The school has been good at recognizing the needs of foreign students. For example, we went out as a crowd last week to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It was great.”
