　　Tonight, my parents and I went to the park for a walk after dinner. There were so many people, and a lot of families hanged out. There was a special show in the center park, and people could sing in the stage. I asked my mother to sing because she liked singing so much. Though she refused at first, she sung at last. A lot of people praised her.

　　今天晚上吃完飯后我和我父母去公園散步。那里有很多人，很多家庭都出來晃蕩。在公園的中心有一個特別的演出，人們可以在舞臺上唱歌。我叫我媽媽去唱歌，因為她很喜歡唱歌。雖然一開始她拒絕了，但最后她還是唱了。很多人都稱贊她。

　　Many people had no work. They lived a hard life. In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved. I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.
