　　為提高孩子們英語水平，檢驗近期英語學(xué)習(xí)情況，進一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語綜合運用能力，營造英語文化氛圍，7月28日，山東理工大學(xué)“紅色之旅”實踐團于菏澤市牡丹區(qū)趙樓社區(qū)支教基地舉行英語作文比賽。

　　此次比賽本著“人人參與”的原則，在初中三個年級中進行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）為題，學(xué)生們現(xiàn)場發(fā)揮，在30分鐘的時間內(nèi)寫出一篇100詞作文。比賽過程中，參賽選手胸有成竹，屏氣凝神，嚴(yán)格遵守比賽規(guī)則，表現(xiàn)出優(yōu)秀的參賽風(fēng)格。全部同學(xué)在規(guī)定時間內(nèi)完成，甚至有幾位同學(xué)提前做完，顯示出同學(xué)們對英語的有效掌握。學(xué)生作文水平雖顯稚嫩，但從單詞、句子的'運用，到語法篇章的安排，都顯示出了英語教學(xué)有了明顯的進步，這是同學(xué)們勤學(xué)英語的結(jié)果，也是每位實踐隊員辛勤教學(xué)的結(jié)果。最終，趙芳同學(xué)脫穎而出榮獲一等獎，劉涵、趙紫、趙偉等分獲二、三等獎，隊員們?yōu)槠漕C發(fā)獎狀、獎品，以資鼓勵。賽后，實踐團將同學(xué)們的作品在櫥窗中展示，以供大家交流學(xué)習(xí)。同學(xué)們表示今后一定再接再厲，學(xué)好英語。隊員們鼓勵大家在日常生活中也要勤學(xué)勤用，在實踐中探索英語的奧秘。

　　今天是英語比賽的復(fù)賽，我和爸爸早上早早的起床，然后出去吃早餐，我們到車站坐上車以后，我驚奇的發(fā)現(xiàn)我和聶澤坤做的竟然是同一班車！我們因為離得很遠(yuǎn)，所以路上沒有說話。到了以后爸爸給我買了一瓶水就打出租車來到了我們比賽地點廣電大廈，我們向保安人員問清了演播廳在哪兒，就去了，正好又碰上了聶澤坤，他正好也要進去，我覺得我們像有緣分一樣。然后老師要開始點名了，因為姓名在電腦上，所以我就和聶澤坤一起看了看名單，發(fā)現(xiàn)喬尚卿（2班的一位同學(xué)）第一，聶澤坤第二我第三，我們還發(fā)現(xiàn)，指導(dǎo)教師應(yīng)該都是于海洋（Ms yu）,喬尚卿的卻被打成了丁海洋！我和聶澤坤都笑了起來。

　　開始點名了，我們在點名的桌子前面站成兩排，喬尚卿抽了34號，聶澤坤抽了33號，而我卻抽了14號！我們離得太遠(yuǎn)了，就連不會的單詞都不能互相問一下。比賽開始了我們來到一個大廳里，在里面按順序坐好，開始抽紙條，上面寫著單詞，后面寫著幾個人表演，我抽了一個紙條上面寫著：Look snake help a boy （4人）。一個工作人員就又找了3個人和我合作。我們編排的故事情節(jié)大體是這樣的：一個男孩在森林里散步，忽然看見了一條蛇，有兩個小女孩路過，救起了小男孩，殺死了那條蛇。我上臺比賽的時候非常緊張，但是雖然心里緊張，表面上卻看不出來，我相信在選手里面我是最放松的一個。最后經(jīng)過好久的'比賽，評出了成績，我的成績不太理想，不過還是得了一等獎，我驚喜的跳了起來，心里準(zhǔn)備參加下一次比賽，但是后來工作人員的一句話潑了我一身冷水：特等獎的才有機會參加山東省的決賽！

　　唉~~我已經(jīng)努力了，不過我相信我會在雙語比賽中獲得冠軍，加油！

　　by seven-thirty the seats were almost filled. the school band was there; they wore yellow and black uniforms. they started to play at about a quarter to eight. everybody stood up, and the people sang. the game was about to start. two teams ran out to the floor. the referee blew his whistle, and the game started. a basketball game is divided into two halves, and each half is divided into two quarters. there is a rest period between the halves. during the first five minutes of the second half, the score was tied. from then on, the game was very exciting. first one team made a basket, then the other. the people cheered, and everybody was wondering which team was going to win.

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
