　　前兩天，學(xué)校高年級舉行了英語演講比賽，我作為班上的代表之一，前去觀摩。

　　這次比賽無論是主持還是演講，都是全英文的。東看看，西看看，竟來了不少我認(rèn)識的人。學(xué)校的幾位老師來做評委，還有一位外教呢！

　　比賽開始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡短的介紹，然后選手開始挨個兒上臺。每個人都有一份課件，上面是演講內(nèi)容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語，聽得我云里霧里。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距啊！不過根據(jù)課件上的英文，我還是認(rèn)出了一些單詞。

　　選手的情況也不同：有的一口英語說得頭頭是道，聽得人一愣一愣的；有的.上了臺過于緊張，忘了詞，又下來整理整理思緒再上臺；也有的背得不錯，卻出了一點(diǎn)小插曲的……可謂是千姿百態(tài)。

　　選手們講的內(nèi)容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經(jīng)典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內(nèi)容各不相同。

　　通過這次比賽，我深切地體會到了：人外有人，天外有天。我要更加努力地學(xué)習(xí)英語喲！

　　談到成功時，對于實(shí)現(xiàn)成功的原因不同的人有不同的看法。有些人認(rèn)為勤奮是成功必備的素質(zhì)，而另一些人則相信聰明人會實(shí)現(xiàn)成功。從我的角度來看，我認(rèn)為毅力和勤奮對于那些想要成功的人是必不可少的。

　　Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most people want to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goal and keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some people who set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. I think the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we have perseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but if we not, we are doomed to lose. As we all know, Edison is a great inventor in the world. However, before he invented the bulb, he kept trying for tens of thousands of times to find a suitable wire. Let us imagine, if he gave up at the 999th, then how he couldn’t become so successful. So, I strongly believe that perseverance produces success.

　　在比賽的路途中，我們出了一點(diǎn)小插曲：當(dāng)上了城西干道高架橋時，城西干道上竟然堵車了，車子一動不動，就像一件擺設(shè)。我看了一下表，猛地一驚，已經(jīng)3:45分了，在這樣堵下去，我就要遲到了。這可怎么辦？我焦急萬分。我想到了愛情公寓這部電視劇里的場景，主人公曾小賢被堵在中環(huán)路上進(jìn)退兩難，我現(xiàn)在也是這樣，最后，我們終于慢慢的移動到了堵車的源頭，終于又走上了好走的路。

　　·到了考試地點(diǎn)致遠(yuǎn)外國語小學(xué)了，此時，我的`心非常的緊張。雖然我已經(jīng)會背了我的演講稿，也會唱那一首歌，可是我還是覺得很緊張。這時，老師喊到了我，我平復(fù)自己的心情，和媽媽一起走進(jìn)了考場。在考試中，我雖然有些緊張，但努力的大聲演講，我認(rèn)為講的非常的不錯�？墒窃谧詈蟮臅r候出了點(diǎn)意外，在老師說："thank you."的時候，我給老師鞠了一躬，就慌慌忙忙的走出了考場，老媽對我說，你也應(yīng)該講一下thank you，我覺得這是我的一個失誤。
