　　I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is My favorite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer vacations. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is rather difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become very good player.

　　今天下午，我去會議室參加了英語講故事比賽。一進會議室，最前面一排有幾位老師，后面依次是從三年級到五年級的參賽選手。我發(fā)現(xiàn)，我還挺喜歡比賽的。因為比賽前的那種心情很緊張，但緊張中又夾帶著幾分興奮。

　　先是五年級比賽，之后依次往下。輪到我了。站到臺上的時候，我的雙腿有些發(fā)抖，翻開書讀時，第一句讀錯了，我趕緊改進。為了不讓自己再讀錯，我讓自己的心冷靜下來。雙腿也不再抖得那么厲害了。我講的故事是《愛唱歌的鳥，內(nèi)容是有一只愛唱歌的鳥，國王把它關(guān)進籠子里，給它美味的食物，可它就是不唱。最后國王把它放走了，她又像以前那樣唱歌了。現(xiàn)在所有人都很高興。講完了，我走下臺，回到自己的'座位上。有一個女孩跟我的故事一樣，她很有感情把它背誦了出來，還做著動作。我是讀的，有一點感情，沒有做動作。我心想，下次講故事要背下來，要有感情和動作。

　　這次英語講故事比賽真有意思。
