　　幾天前，英語老師把我叫到了她的辦公室里說道：“過幾天有個英語書法比賽，你平時書寫不錯去參加吧，回去之后先把本課的課文寫一寫，練練手，下午把寫的拿過來我看一看，指導一下！”我鄭重地點了點頭

　　中午，我一回到家，就飛快地拿出了英語練習本認認真真地寫了幾遍，接著選了一張寫的最好的下午到校后交給了英語老師，英語老師細致地指導了我，比如豎要寫直，行筆手不要抖等，我牢牢記在了心里，接下來的兩天我按照英語老師的指導一遍又一遍地規(guī)范地練習，我進步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定會有收獲！只要努力這次比賽我一定能得一等獎。

　　轉眼間到了英語書法比賽的日子，我快速向比賽地點跑去，到了地方，老師一發(fā)下試題，我就不由緊張起來，要書寫的內容很多，(有十個單詞，和很長一段話）可又有什么辦法呢？我只能耐下性子來好好寫，剛剛寫了一個開頭，我就開始手心出汗，又往下寫了還不到一半，我已經(jīng)全身大汗淋漓，我急得像熱鍋上的螞蟻團團轉，心想：這樣緊張下去，比賽肯定無法取得一個好成績，不行，我得調整情緒，不能太緊張了。于是我連著深呼吸了幾下，盡量把字寫得不那么歪歪扭扭，眼看快收卷了，我硬著頭皮把考題寫完交了上去。交上去后，我想：這次可算是寫砸鍋了，想拿一等獎是不可能了！不一會兒老師們便改完了試卷，評出了一、二等獎，開始發(fā)獎狀了，老師先念了二等獎的人，但沒有我的.名字，一種恐懼迅速蔓延了我的全身，我是不是因為寫得太爛而沒有獲獎？我總不能得一等獎吧？我越想越害怕，這時老師念到了獲一等獎的同學，竟然念到了我！我萬萬沒想到我竟然是一等獎！我太開心了。

　　聽了媽媽的這番話，我并沒有往心里去，而是繼續(xù)認真的背誦演講稿，心想，我一定要得獎。

　　時間不知不覺的來到了這一天，我心里多少也沒底，因為并不知道其他參賽選手的實力如何。不過，我對自己還是有信心的，希望自己能取得一個不錯的成績。

　　那天下午，我早早的來到了比賽場地。發(fā)現(xiàn)來了的同學們都在認真的.看自己的演講稿，我找到一個比較靠前的座位，邊看演講稿，邊等待比賽的開始。

　　兩點整，比賽正式開始。主持人Vivian宣讀了比賽規(guī)則以及評分標準。然后讓我們到評委席去抽簽決定比賽順序。我本以為自己能抽到中間的位置，沒想到竟然抽了個第二�？磥淼煤煤冒l(fā)揮了。

　　the ball hit the rim of the basket and seemed to hang there for a moment, and then it fell through the basket. the whistle blew and the game was over. home team won, 70 to 68.
