　　Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?

　　Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves.

　　However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

　　當(dāng)我還是高一年級(jí)時(shí)，我看到臺(tái)上哥哥姐姐舌燦蓮花，充滿自信的表現(xiàn)，讓我崇拜不已，我期待有一天我也能像他們一樣，能站在學(xué)校的舞臺(tái)，盡情的表現(xiàn)自己。沒(méi)想到當(dāng)我升上四年級(jí)時(shí)，竟然意外獲得校長(zhǎng)的推薦，給了我一個(gè)夢(mèng)寐以求的英語(yǔ)演講機(jī)會(huì)。當(dāng)老師告訴我這個(gè)從天上掉下來(lái)的消息時(shí)，剎那間，我嚇得目瞪口呆。

　　我懷著既期待又緊張的心情準(zhǔn)備，在練習(xí)的過(guò)程中，英語(yǔ)老師為了要我適應(yīng)計(jì)時(shí)鈴聲，控制好說(shuō)完故事的時(shí)間，模擬了比賽鈴聲響起的各種突發(fā)狀況。當(dāng)我第一次練習(xí)聽(tīng)到催促的鈴聲，我心想：“天��！超過(guò)時(shí)間會(huì)被評(píng)審扣分！”頓時(shí)，我難過(guò)得流下傷心的眼淚。老師頻頻安慰我，要我心平氣和熟悉比賽的氣氛。

　　經(jīng)過(guò)反覆的.練習(xí)，我漸漸的適應(yīng)鈴聲所帶給我的影響，并且能駕輕就熟的把握時(shí)間，最后，我終于能在規(guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)說(shuō)完故事，也得到更多的自信。

　　到了正式比賽的當(dāng)天，我自信滿滿帶著精心設(shè)計(jì)的各種道具來(lái)到比賽現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。每個(gè)參賽對(duì)手實(shí)力堅(jiān)強(qiáng)，看到每個(gè)人將辛苦練習(xí)的成果，淋漓盡致的展現(xiàn)在舞臺(tái)上，激起了我強(qiáng)大的斗志。輪到我上臺(tái)時(shí)，我從容自若氣定神閑的態(tài)度，以及燦爛可愛(ài)的笑容，博得評(píng)審和觀眾如雷的掌聲，英語(yǔ)老師和親自前來(lái)為我鼓勵(lì)打氣的爸媽都極力稱贊我，我對(duì)自己的表現(xiàn)給予最高的評(píng)價(jià)，大家都斬釘截鐵的認(rèn)為冠軍非我莫屬。

　　當(dāng)成績(jī)公布時(shí)，出乎意料的，我居然名落孫山，當(dāng)場(chǎng)嚎啕大哭，爸媽只能在一旁安慰鼓勵(lì)我。

　　雖然這樣的結(jié)果，讓我難過(guò)不已，但“要怎么收獲先那么栽”，我堅(jiān)信只要我持續(xù)不懈，總有一天能為學(xué)校爭(zhēng)取榮譽(yù)，我的努力將為自己種出一片幸福的花田。

　　今年暑假，我報(bào)名參加了全省少兒英語(yǔ)朗誦電視表演大賽。有三千多人參賽。比賽分為四個(gè)組別，分別是：幼兒組、小學(xué)A組（我參加的組別）、小學(xué)B組、中學(xué)組。分初賽、復(fù)賽、半決賽、決賽四個(gè)賽程。競(jìng)爭(zhēng)很激烈，從三千人中最后決出四十名選手進(jìn)入決賽。

　　我抱著試試看的心情參加了比賽，想練練膽子，希望能提高自己的英語(yǔ)水平。初賽的時(shí)候，我有些緊張，自我介紹的時(shí)候都卡殼了，不過(guò)幸好我的英語(yǔ)歌曲唱得不錯(cuò)，順利過(guò)關(guān)，進(jìn)入復(fù)賽。

　　復(fù)賽的時(shí)候，我的心情不那么緊張了，并且增加了一個(gè)Story time的'才藝展示。幾天后，接到了參加半決賽的通知。

　　半決賽在杭州濱江區(qū)的浙江藝術(shù)職業(yè)學(xué)院的演播廳舉行。按規(guī)定，每個(gè)組別是20人參加，但是由于競(jìng)爭(zhēng)很激烈，我們組有25人參賽，要選出10人參加決賽，比別的組更艱難。結(jié)果我發(fā)揮較為出色，殺入了決賽。哇，好高興！

　　一周后，決賽開(kāi)始。評(píng)委也增加到了9個(gè)。比賽分為4個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)：自我介紹、才藝展示、即興演講和評(píng)委提問(wèn)，要求也更加嚴(yán)格，超過(guò)時(shí)間就會(huì)被卡斷。我抽到最后一個(gè)出場(chǎng)，由于還是有些緊張，居然漏了一項(xiàng)才藝表演。不過(guò)其他都發(fā)揮正常。

　　經(jīng)過(guò)2個(gè)多小時(shí)的比賽和評(píng)委的認(rèn)真評(píng)選，獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)正式開(kāi)出，我獲得了這次全省第二屆少兒英語(yǔ)朗誦電視大賽小學(xué)A組的銅獎(jiǎng)。哈哈，真沒(méi)想到！通過(guò)這次比賽，我得到了鍛煉，開(kāi)闊了眼界，也提高了學(xué)好英語(yǔ)的興趣。正像老師說(shuō)的那樣，重要的不是結(jié)果，是參與比賽的過(guò)程！

　　I was asked to play in the first time, I felt so nervous, I am so afraid that I could not cooperate with my team well. When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader. I recognized my mistake, I changed my move, at last, I covered our captain successfully, our team won the game.
