　　準(zhǔn)備了好久，終于到了英語比賽的日子了。媽媽帶我去化妝店把我打扮得像個小公主。我約了萬詩琪去給我打氣，我們還接了夏老師一起去看我的表演。

　　到了杭州，我們在賽場內(nèi)看了許多小朋友的表演，他們都很棒，我相信我一定能像他們那樣棒的。在那里等了好長的時間，終于輪到我了。當(dāng)主持人叫到我的'名字時，我的心情一下子緊張起來了。走到臺上我想到了媽媽的話：“把下面的評委當(dāng)成是班里的同學(xué)，他們在聽我領(lǐng)讀英語呢！”想到這兒，我的心情一下子就平靜了下來，順利的表演完了準(zhǔn)備好的節(jié)目。聽到觀眾的掌聲，別提我心里有多高興了。夏老師還夸我的表演很不錯，媽媽也說我的表演非常棒。我克服了我膽小的毛病，以后我會對自己更加有信心。

　　比賽在大家的掌聲結(jié)束了，我?guī)н@喜悅的心情回家了。

　　The 21st CENTURY speech contest was held on Friday afternoon in the lecture hall, Gaoxin

　　Campus. It was great. Each grade in our school had a speech contest. Eighteen candidates from Grade Six took part in it. The first three winners would go to the next grade.

　　All of the speakers prepared well for the speech. When the contest began, some of the speakers were very nervous as they were giving speech to the audience.

　　The thing that made me shocked was, when the speakers were giving a speech and the fellow students were so quiet that you could hear the speakers clearly. When our class speakers went up, our whole class was cheering, it was crazy. The speakers delivered their speeches very fluently that I couldn’t even do it so good.

　　I remember all of the speakers talked about their parents. They said all of the good things about their parents, but no one said their flaws. But I think everyone has already done a great job. They all did their best.

　　Congratulations to all the candidates on their excellent jobs. I hope all of them will do better and better in the future.

　　“五一”放假的時候老師給我們布置了一項作業(yè)：每人準(zhǔn)備一份英語演講稿，可以是自己的父母、老師、學(xué)校，也可以是小動物，或者英語小故事，我準(zhǔn)備的是《My family》�！拔逡弧遍_學(xué)以后，老師在班里進(jìn)行選拔，最后我們班被選中的.同學(xué)有魏奕博、劉向還有我，老師又對我們進(jìn)行了多次輔導(dǎo)。老師要求我們首先要把自己的稿子讀熟練并讀出感情，不能像背書那樣速度那么快，在熟練的同時再背誦。我回家后每天都抽時間練習(xí)，一段一段地背熟練，讓媽媽幫我聽，還自己用手機(jī)錄音聽效果。

　　參加英語演講比賽的共有來自三至六年級的17名同學(xué)，他們看起來都信心十足，那些哥哥姐姐們在臺上都表現(xiàn)得非常出色。連主持人也是一名英語和一名漢語主持人。我是三年級的一號，快輪到我時我有點(diǎn)小緊張了，害怕自己說不好，我深伸吸了一口氣就上臺了，結(jié)果我說得還比較流利，沒有忘詞 還 發(fā)揮出了自己最好的水平。最后有4名同學(xué)獲得了一等獎，5名同學(xué)獲得了二等獎，8名同學(xué)獲得了三等獎。我獲得了二等獎。

　　演講比賽結(jié)束了，雖然我這次沒有獲得一等獎，但我從別人的身上看到了別人的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)，也看到了自己的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和缺點(diǎn)，我現(xiàn)在還是一名三年級的學(xué)生，還是第一次參加這樣的比賽，以后還會有很多機(jī)會，這次活動對我來說也鍛煉了我的膽量和能力。以后我要好好學(xué)習(xí)，多多地參加各種活動來鍛煉自己。
