　　Some say growing up in rich family promotes children's personality and character. Some think otherwise. What's your opinion? Why?

　　Well, it's quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a person's personality has little relation to his family economic level. It's commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isn't aware of this, that is all in vain. It's not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor family's children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves.

　　However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus can't study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. That will cause deficiency in some literal or artistic talent such as music or dance. Therefore, I think children's personality have little relation to their family situation.

　　今年的英語(yǔ)歌謠比賽，從各班的保密程度及互相打探軍情的狀況，可以得知大家無(wú)不摩拳擦掌，希望奪下冠軍寶座。我們班也不例外，老師利用了音樂、體育課程，不斷緊鑼密鼓地練習(xí)，希望再度拿到好成績(jī)。

　　時(shí)間不斷地逼進(jìn)，再過(guò)三天就要英語(yǔ)歌謠比賽了，同學(xué)們賣力地練習(xí)著跳舞、唱歌，一遍又一遍，此起彼落的歌聲回蕩在教室中，彷彿在訴說(shuō)著我們有多么努力、認(rèn)真。

　　回想起這幾個(gè)星期來(lái)，從選歌曲到編舞，每一個(gè)人絞盡腦汁地設(shè)計(jì)動(dòng)作，努力練習(xí)歌曲的練唱著。一開始練舞蹈動(dòng)作時(shí)狀況百出，有人像是木頭人般毫無(wú)韻律感；有人則是節(jié)拍總跟不上；有些人懶散甚至渾水摸魚，急得老師跳腳。大家總是等老師氣到臉紅脖子粗，如同火山爆發(fā)地破口大罵時(shí)，才一改懶散的態(tài)度嚴(yán)陣以待。

　　而媽媽在比賽這段時(shí)間，常常四處奔波只為了幫我們找尋適合歌曲的.造型。有時(shí)我會(huì)陪媽媽一起去買材料，沒想到常常在車上一等就是好幾個(gè)小時(shí)。因媽媽對(duì)任何事都要求完美。他一直很在意每一個(gè)小細(xì)節(jié)，在家中總拿我當(dāng)人形模特兒，讓我試穿各類型的衣服，只為了表現(xiàn)歌曲本身的精隨。有一次，下著滂沱大雨，媽媽一樣堅(jiān)持要到后火車站找尋配件，她說(shuō)她希望每個(gè)同學(xué)都有最獨(dú)一無(wú)二的造型，并為我們留下美好的回憶。當(dāng)時(shí)，我知道自己不能再懶散了，看著媽媽辛苦的付出，也讓我學(xué)會(huì)了“歡喜做，甘愿受”的道理。

　　這幾天我也不斷地苦練吉他，希望把每一個(gè)音節(jié)修正到位。媽媽更是千萬(wàn)叮囑地請(qǐng)吉他老師幫我試音、調(diào)音。希望在我們比賽時(shí)，我精湛的電吉它飆音技巧能為我們班的歌曲做一完美開場(chǎng)，在評(píng)審心中留下深刻的印象。

　　看著同學(xué)們賣力地扭動(dòng)身軀，扯開喉嚨地大聲歡唱，汗水淋漓的臉龐為我們的努力見證著，雖無(wú)法預(yù)知三天后的比賽成績(jī)，但是我知道我們團(tuán)結(jié)努力地朝著目標(biāo)前進(jìn)的心，絕對(duì)無(wú)人能及！同學(xué)們，加油吧！

　　There was a basketball game in our school this afternoon. It was between Class 3 and Class 6 of Grade 5. They are the best teams in our school.

　　When the game started, both of them played actively. I could only see the ball passed quickly from one to another. It was really a wonderful game. At last Class 6 won the first prize and Class 3 congratulated them warmly.

　　They really embodied the sports spirit of "friendship first, competition second".

　　今天下午我們學(xué)校有一場(chǎng)籃球賽，是5年級(jí)3班和6班的比賽，他們是我們學(xué)校最好的球隊(duì)。
