一． 比賽宗旨
激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生觀察能力和寫作能力，給學(xué)生提供一個展示自我的平臺。
二. 比賽主題:
以書信的形式給老師，同學(xué)，父母及朋友寫一封信. 暢談人生理想，匯報自己的'學(xué)習(xí)，生活等情況。 三.比賽要求
1.主題鮮明，感情真摯，內(nèi)容健康向上。
2.字跡清楚，卷面整潔，格式正確。
3.字數(shù)：120---150
4.作品必須為原創(chuàng)作品，不得抄襲或轉(zhuǎn)載他人的作品。

前幾個禮拜，為了英語讀者劇場比賽，英文老師和劉老師不停的教導(dǎo)我們，九位同學(xué)如何讓每個句子唸得高低起伏、抑揚頓挫并加入感動觀眾的情感，同時告訴我們怎么以時而適當(dāng)時而夸張的表情傳達故事的意義。我們馬不停蹄、加緊腳步的認真練習(xí)了好久。當(dāng)然準備了這么久，無非不是希望正式比賽，能有優(yōu)異而杰出的表現(xiàn)。
當(dāng)天，英文老師替緊張的我們打扮得引人注目，把臉蛋畫上濃濃的`妝，幫頭發(fā)設(shè)計造型。到了休息區(qū)先加緊認真練習(xí)，我們是第十一組，大家有時專注的練習(xí)，有時從電視中觀賞其他隊伍的演出。當(dāng)?shù)搅说谑M演出時，我們各個冒出帶著不安的汗水，臉色顯露出恐懼，而老師則是拉高嗓音，不斷的重復(fù)「一定得放大音量！」……等等的注意事項，這些提醒使我們更加惶惶不安！
「現(xiàn)在，請第十一組上臺！」那時，我們各個頭皮發(fā)麻，全身僵硬，勉強憋住氣露出了硬梆梆、不好看的微笑。上臺了，我們該大聲時大聲，并做出夸張的手勢，且露出了牙齒，做出邪惡張牙舞爪的動作，下面的觀眾與評審則是，時而被我們的演出所感染而跟著微笑，時而因我們可怕的表情而露出了受驚嚇的神色。下臺時，我們把原先僵硬的臉蛋放輕松。此時，我們自然得露出了淺淺的微笑。
「萬歲！萬歲！我們?nèi)脒x了！」我們在三十二個參賽隊中勇奪第五名！這句話在我心中不停的吶喊著、打轉(zhuǎn)著，臉上同時浮現(xiàn)了混雜著驕傲與感動的神情。此刻，老師興奮的又叫又跳，還自掏腰包買可樂及冰淇淋犒賞我們，這一切都要感謝老師辛苦的教導(dǎo)及同學(xué)們合作無間的奮力演出，期許我們在決賽中能夠贏得更亮眼的成績。
