上午，在英語(yǔ)培訓(xùn)班上，Lovely老師說(shuō)：“同學(xué)們，第二節(jié)課我們卓越英語(yǔ)學(xué)校將舉行一個(gè)英語(yǔ)活動(dòng)，我們班也可以參加。”話還沒(méi)說(shuō)完，我們?nèi)嗤瑢W(xué)立即歡呼起來(lái)，Lovely又把比賽的規(guī)則說(shuō)了一遍，讓全班同學(xué)都理解清楚。
比賽開始了！我們班被分成了四組，每組四人，我被排在B隊(duì)。我們B隊(duì)選中我負(fù)責(zé)記錄物品，一個(gè)男老師分給了我紙和筆，開始報(bào)物品的英文，總共是10個(gè)單詞。我那時(shí)候的心情應(yīng)該是緊張加激動(dòng)吧，十種簡(jiǎn)簡(jiǎn)單單的物品，我卻有好幾個(gè)字不會(huì)寫，哎！真是太緊張了。
寫好清單后，接下來(lái)的活動(dòng)就有點(diǎn)像電視上的“購(gòu)物街”。我們B隊(duì)飛快地沖進(jìn)了物品區(qū)，開始分頭行動(dòng)，按著清單上的物品，我們順利地把十樣物品都找齊了，水彩筆、計(jì)算器、糖果……看來(lái)勝利就在眼前了。
緊接著我們隊(duì)進(jìn)入了最后一個(gè)階段就是歸還物品。趁A組還沒(méi)好時(shí)，我們隊(duì)把物品仔細(xì)對(duì)照了一遍，又把英文單詞念了一下，應(yīng)該是沒(méi)問(wèn)題了。如果勝利女神對(duì)我們微笑，我們就可以到曼德沃超市去參加半決賽、決賽，那該有多好哇！
輪到我們了，我太緊張了，竟然把果凍單詞都讀錯(cuò)了，不過(guò)馬上就糾正過(guò)來(lái)了。比賽還在進(jìn)行中，我們隊(duì)順利地讀出了一個(gè)又一個(gè)的'單詞，后來(lái)我們把所有的物品都?xì)w還給老師，比賽就結(jié)束了。覺(jué)得比賽時(shí)間好短，我感到好像還沒(méi)有玩夠似的。
最后，我們隊(duì)拿了第一名，這一刻，我們的美夢(mèng)突然實(shí)現(xiàn)了，我們隊(duì)可以進(jìn)入半決賽了！今天我好開心，我想我也會(huì)在半決賽中好好努力的。

Before the contest, Fangfang thought her English was the best. So shespent lots of time picking some beautiful clothes for herself instead of trying to work hard at English for the contest. As a result, she didnt do well in the contest because she hadnt got ready for the contest.
But Mingming was different from Fangfang. He worked hard at Englishand asked others for help. Especially, his leg was hurt two days before the contest, but he never gave up. In the end, he won the contest.
No doubt, from Mingming we should learn : No pains, No gains. From now on, I mush learn fromMingming.
