　　星期六，媽媽帶著我去試聽英語外教課，我有點不情愿。

　　上課了，來了個女老師，我覺得跟平時的英語課沒什么兩樣。上完了中國老師的課，輪到上外國老師的`課了，一開始我堅持我的想法，可后來我的想法卻被打敗了。我們先學“警察”這個單詞，外國老師先把小朋友的手用繩子綁住，扮演警察抓小偷，大聲教我們念“policeman”�！靶⊥怠鼻那慕忾_繩子，綁住了老師的手，等老師發(fā)現(xiàn)時假裝很生氣，大叫一聲“I am a policeman！”

　　然后一個一個地讀，輪到我的時候，我非常害怕，可外國老師卻蹲下來教我讀，等到我讀正確了，老師說我非常棒。下面是教“女警察”的單詞，小朋友們在老師把卡片舉起來讀時，悄悄把卡片換成“男警察”的卡片，老師在上面用英語大聲讀“女警察”，小朋友在下面用英語讀“男警察”，等老師看卡片的時候才發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的卡片被小朋友悄悄換掉了，引得小朋友哈哈大笑，我們很輕松地記住了這兩個單詞。

　　外國老師的課真有意思，我喜歡，我決定要上英語課。

　　一個年輕人向蘇格拉底詢問成功的秘訣,蘇格拉底讓年輕人第二天早晨到河邊見他。他們見面后,蘇格拉底叫年輕人和他一起走向河里,當河水淹至他們的脖子時,蘇格拉底出其不意地抓住年輕人并把其壓入水中,那人想要掙出水面,而強壯有力的蘇格拉底將他摁在水中直到他變得無力抗爭,臉色發(fā)青。蘇格拉底將他的頭拖出水面,這個年輕人所做的第一件事就是大口喘息后,深吸一口氣。蘇格拉底問:"當你悶在水里的時候你最想要的是什么?"年輕人回答說:"空氣。"蘇格拉底說:"那就是成功的秘訣。當你像渴望空氣一樣渴望成功,你就能夠獲得它!沒有其他的秘密了。"
