　　今天，一年一度的英語節(jié)在培德樓上的六樓報告大廳如火如荼的舉行了。

　　為了今天，我以前可是大下功夫，又是寫稿子，又是讓媽媽幫我認識新單詞，又是自己背稿子，終于等到了今天。

　　我自信滿滿的.走進大廳。媽呀！嚇死我了！這里居然聚集著這么多人。有五年級學生、老師、各年級的英語老師。嗯？還有兩個老外！看來，我今天得好好表現(xiàn)了，為自己、為班級而爭光。

　　比賽開始了，我是28號，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一個調皮的小精靈一樣，跳得七上八下的——好緊張。該我了，我走上臺，感到腿有點發(fā)軟，好像馬上就要癱在地上了一樣；手有一點發(fā)顫，好像馬上就要把話筒掉在地上一樣。當我看見兩位老外在默默地為我鼓掌時，我便又鼓起勇氣，繼續(xù)往下背。我的腿不再發(fā)軟了，我的手也不再發(fā)顫了，我的精神又飽滿起來。

　　因為我有一點拘謹，所以只得了二等獎。我很失望，因為我原來可以得到更高的分數(shù)，但我依然很開心，因為我體驗到了我以前從來沒有體驗過的感受，還受到了一個使我一生受益的啟發(fā)：只要有付出，就一定有回報。

　　英語是世界通用的語言，所以我一定要學好英語。長大為祖國增光添彩。
