Junk food is great harm, not only can damage to our health, and will make us sick, but also a lot of people do not notice that junk food is now doing harm to us, so I want to write something to talk about junk food.

　　With the development of our life, many people are busy with their work and enjoy eating fast food. This problem, however, has greatly increased in recent yearsregard it as junk food.

　　Each coin has two sidesit brings us benefits to people. It is convenient for us to have some fast food. it brings us danger.The more junk food you eat, the unheathier you will be. And the junk food may increase the risk of disease and other kinds of health problems. We should pay closer attention to our health. Instead of having junk food, eat more fruits and vegetables which contain more vitamins.

　　I am an active girl, and I like playing sports very much. My favourite sport is swimming. Today my topic is To introduce my favourite sport. When I am swimming in the pool, I am very happy. I look like a lovely fish in the pond. I enjoy swimming, because swimming can make me strong and healthy. It can also bring me a lot of happiness.

　　I swim three times a week. Most often I swim in my school. I feel very happy when I swim in school with my friends. I often go to swim with my good friend Lily. She likes swimming,too. And she is very good at it. She always swims better than me. Sometimes I swim in the swimming club near my home during summer holidays. Swimming is not so hard as some people imagine. But many young people dream to become big stars like Sun Yang, which is difficult because you should, first of all, be gifted and then have a lot of practice from early age in order to become a very good player.

　　4. An interesting thing

　　It is impossible to recall all the past, but I can assure you that my childhood is a pleasant one to me.

　　When I was in kinder garden, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness. Once I made an arrow, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.

　　When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies and went swimming.

　　I like swimming very much. Thank them for teaching me swimming. I like to play with my friends because I was only a girl. My mother often scolded me when I didn't get home after school but never too severely.

　　I love my parents. I do think it is one of the best years in my whole life.

　　5. My best friend

　　Lily is my close friend who I came to know in No.2 Middle School.

　　She is a teacher. She gave me a sharp impression when we met at the first time. Through chatting, we found that we have many common favorites, and finally we came to be friends.

　　Lily is tall and slender with white skin, long-black hair and a blue-frame glasses. She looks beautiful and graceful. She has good characters of considerate and gentle. So she is easy to get along with.

　　Lily is good at singing and dancing. She also has many other favorites, such as swimming outdoors, reading, surfing and so on. So she is a modern and intellectual young girl with diverse abilities and knowledge.

　　Lily is not only a good friend but also a teacher. I often told her the story when I was in trouble. And she always does her best to help me and encourage me to face up to the difficulties of life, till I am successful.

　　拿到稿子的時候，離比賽沒幾天了，媽媽和老師天天陪著我練習(xí)，我也努力一讀再讀，背得滾瓜爛熟，應(yīng)該是沒有問題了吧？

　　哪里知道比賽的前一天晚上，我卻緊張的睡不著覺，再床上翻來覆去的，直到清晨四點才迷迷糊糊的睡去。

　　到學(xué)校的時候，我一點精神也沒有，全身軟綿綿的，暈頭轉(zhuǎn)向的，這樣能比賽嗎？誰知道一聽到比賽的鐘聲響起，我一下子充滿了精力，精神奕奕的上場了。

　　我懷著既期待又緊張的心情準(zhǔn)備，在練習(xí)的過程中，英語老師為了要我適應(yīng)計時鈴聲，控制好說完故事的時間，模擬了比賽鈴聲響起的各種突發(fā)狀況。當(dāng)我第一次練習(xí)聽到催促的鈴聲，我心想：“天��！超過時間會被評審扣分！”頓時，我難過得流下傷心的眼淚。老師頻頻安慰我，要我心平氣和熟悉比賽的氣氛。

　　今天我們到青龍中學(xué)（六中）去參加雙語比賽，我到了以后發(fā)現(xiàn)同學(xué)們差不多已經(jīng)都到齊了。然后我們便自己準(zhǔn)備起了英語短文，這樣可以等待還沒有來的同學(xué)。等到同學(xué)們都來齊了，Ms yu便帶領(lǐng)我們進(jìn)去了。校園里邊特別漂亮，噴泉花壇、全塑膠跑道、參天大樹還有整齊的教學(xué)樓，我們帶隊的同學(xué)竟然被這美麗的風(fēng)景迷住了，差一點兒就帶著同學(xué)們走到操場上。但是幸虧Ms yu叫住了我們，然后我們圍成一個圈表演，李曉曷第一個，她上去以后背的非�？於抑形臎]背就想下去，被Ms yu一下退了回去背了中文，我是第二個上去的，我表情自如，動作加的非常到位但是Ms yu說我聲音太小，語速太快。

　　終于工作人員過來說：“B組的同學(xué)比賽了，B組的趕緊過來！”我們排成兩隊走到大廳，然后工作人員點名，我是第6個。我們按順序排好隊后，就走進(jìn)了初一九班，然后抽簽按順序號入座我15號、梅笑寒14號、宋淑涵13號和陳玥琦17號我覺得真的是太有緣了，第一組開始比賽了，是1—10號比賽。所以我們又等了漫長的幾十分鐘，終于輪到我們比賽了，我們進(jìn)入了比賽場地，這時我看到了一個男老師，兩個女老師，和一個女外教。夏侯楊子先上，他一上場就問了老師幾個問題特別搞笑，然后才開始背的……，終于到了我上場了，我站的筆直背的英文流利，中文標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，聲音洪亮的都可以聽見回音了，外教的問題也都全部答對了。所有的參賽選手都答的非常好，我們就退場了，我們出來以后Ms yu緊張的問我們答的怎么樣？我們都說答的很好，聽了我們的回答她的.臉上露出了滿意的笑容…………等過了漫長的1個小時，成績出來了，我得了97分！全組（35人）第一名！我當(dāng)時心里非常高興：我今天能取得這么優(yōu)異的成績，和Ms yu平時的辛勤輔導(dǎo)是分不開的，在這里我要感謝Ms yu！

　　Did you ever want to win first prize in a reading competition? Maybe or maybe not.But how would you feel if you thought you had done really well and then didn't? You would feel really awful…

　　On March 22 nd we had a reading competition in a high school. That day, I was very nervous about the competition. I thought and thought…..and I said to myself,Austin, don’t worry it will be fine. After a while, my mom took me to that high school.

　　When I got into the seat of the car, my stomach started to hurt, but I knew that sort of thing will happen all the time during a stressful event like a reading competition. Later, after a few hours had past, it was my turn to walk up to the stage and say my lines. But wait! I looked over and noticed the judge wasn't looking at me- it was if she didn't respect me! We learned how important eye contact is during our assembly.

　　After I finished, the guests gave me great praise. I thought I would have a good mark.Then came the time to give out the certificates. When the person read Frobel ElementaryI thought it was me…..but it was my classmate Cindy. She had received second place. Then they read the first prize and I was disappointed it wasn’t me. I was very sad…… but……

　　I must tell everyone in here, when you go to a competition win or lose you shouldn't care. You should care about whether or not you did your best. You need to ask yourself- Did you learn anything for entering this competition? Do you have the courage to read a story to a huge audience?

　　The contest was held at the playground last Saturday morning, 7:00a.m. The panel is made up of 5 English teachers from our school, all of whom were experienced. Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.
