The 21st CENTURY speech contest was held on Friday afternoon in the lecture hall, Gaoxin
Campus. It was great. Each grade in our school had a speech contest. Eighteen candidates from Grade Six took part in it. The first three winners would go to the next grade.
All of the speakers prepared well for the speech. When the contest began, some of the speakers were very nervous as they were giving speech to the audience.
The thing that made me shocked was, when the speakers were giving a speech and the fellow students were so quiet that you could hear the speakers clearly. When our class speakers went up, our whole class was cheering, it was crazy. The speakers delivered their speeches very fluently that I couldn’t even do it so good.
I remember all of the speakers talked about their parents. They said all of the good things about their parents, but no one said their flaws. But I think everyone has already done a great job. They all did their best.

“同學(xué)們，我們要進(jìn)場了，脫掉外套�！甭牭娇诹睿缇蛙S躍欲試的我們馬上站了起來，排好隊伍，向后臺走去，到了后臺，只見其他班的同學(xué)都在聽班主任的.最后幾句叮嚀，王老師隨即也說了幾句，之后就要等我們上場了。
我們懷著緊張的心情，上了臺，面對著人山人海，心跳得更快了，原本生疏的歌，唱到后來就流暢了，這時，我突然發(fā)現(xiàn)周圍的人都沒在做動作，我看見人家沒做，我也就沒做“怎么辦，這樣唱會得倒數(shù)第一的”
突然，發(fā)生了一個意外，唱到第二首開頭竟然出了差錯，我們聲音慢了下來，似乎每個人都在搜索開頭的詞語，我眉頭緊鎖，那首歌好像在我腦海里像放電影一樣放著，不一會兒，便極力搜到了那句話，漸漸恢復(fù)了狀態(tài)。唱著唱著，時間一分一秒過去了，隨著音樂的結(jié)束，我們也下了臺。
走下臺時，我心里一直希望，希望拿個第三名，因為第一名是不可能了，第二名也算了，一定要第三名，其他人似乎也和我一樣，一下臺就抱怨，怎么動作沒做的一類話，如果時間能逆轉(zhuǎn)，我肯定會邊唱邊做動作，真不甘心。如果第四名可就慘了，一格黑格啊！
成績終于下來了，果然，如我們所愿第三名，每個人都在心里默默的叫了一聲“耶”

Last week, I took part in an English speech contest which was held by our teachers. There were twelve students in the final contest. I was one of them.
Fifteen minutes before my turn, I picked my topic and prepared for it. I wrote down the outlines and organized what I was going to say. However, when I stood in front of all judges and students, I was extremely nervous. My mind was totally empty.
Then I took a deep breath to relax myself and started my speech. The result was not as good as I expected, but I preferred to regard it as a challenge to myself, whose process was the most important for me. I can learn a lot from this contest. I am sure I will be better next time.

比賽那天不知不覺就到了，我和爸爸、程老師到了歙縣教育局的多媒體教室，這里可真是人山人海�。�......終于輪到我唱了。我拿著話筒，既高興又緊張，高興的是有機會站在臺前唱英語歌，為校爭光；緊張的是：畢竟是第一次唱英語歌，怕唱不好，鬧笑話。但在臺下，有爸爸給我加油，老師給我鼓勵。于是，我鼓足勇氣，唱了起來......唱完后，我用目光搜尋著爸爸和老師，他們正滿意地對我笑呢！
我想：只有自信，才能成功。
